The river is not too clear, but, cool water never fails to tempt the visitor to just wash the skin with minimal dozens of residents were busy washing clothes.
Parai River flows out of a cave just below a thirty-meter-high cliff. What springs are located right on the edge of the highway Parai, about 20 minutes from the town of Biak, make this tourist location so the right place to cool off after playing on the beach.
No entry fee is, but get ready to change her clothes behind large trees surrounding the springs, or, just tap the door of people's homes around the place to borrow change. Terada (no) to be paid or free. Donations can be given to the keeper springs.
Small cave springs Parai River, Biak
Despite its beauty, according to Kak Boi, springs Parai River is one of the biggest springs, which can be taken by the citizens of Biak Island. This barren island is poor freshwater. Geological conditions of the rocky island makes the water so hard to build up in the basement, the only way to get fresh water is, by pumping up to tens of meters.
City water companies Biakpun installing drinking water installations directly beside this spring. From here the water was taken around the island, supplying the needs of Biak Island.
When visiting mid-October 2010, air Biak Island red-hot. Jam on hand had recorded a temperature of 35 degrees, it is said, this weather will mark the evening rain. Unfortunately, the rain was not so down all day, but the cool water of the Parai is more than enough to cool the skin.
I'm not sure I would have dark skin lighter after 'plunging' Parai on the river, but, visited this place seems not only we recommend. Parai River springs need to be visited to rinse the skin, the heat dissipate after a day of fun playing on the eastern shores of the island of Biak.
